The companies METEC USA
Inc. and its subsidiary METEC Ltd. were founded in 1991 by a group
of scientists and engineers from Massachusetts and St.Petersburg.
One of the main types of business activities pursued by the companies
is development of specialized software and multimedia projects in
sciences, engineering and education. We have a proven track record
of successful software and multimedia- based product developments
for various scientific and industrial applications. In addition to
"the best in the business " level of expertise of our own staff, we
have developed a good practice of utilizing word class professionals
from major science and research centers of St. Petersburg, drawing
on their experience in specific areas of the science and technology.
The companies focus its software development in four main areas:

Our staff
The staff of employees includes scientists,
highly skilled engineers and programmers. Our programmers master
a number of programming languages, although C++ and Visual C are
the languages of preference. Usually software is developed under
Windows operation system. For multimedia projects we utilize well-known
state of art development tools such as 3-D Studio MAX, Macromedia
Director. In addition we create our own C++ coded applications for
animations and presentations.
